ABOUT NORWAY INDUSTRIES
We've been making arrows or products for fletching them for about 50 years now.
It all began with the Ol' Codger - that would be Dad - who rented a corner of a
dilapidated cowbarn and started building the equipment that would one day crank
out one wood arrow shaft after another. One of his favorite stories is about the
first shipment he made to a fellow in New York. The feedback of that first delivery
said that the archery industry is small enough that good news would travel fast.
And news about a bad product would travel even faster.
So Dad learned one of the hardest lessons right off the bat, kept pursuing his vision
and was able to support his small army of a family with the business. Oh, yeah,
we all got our turns working at the "Salt Mine," as he so affectionately called
it.
There have been a lot of changes since those days of stacking cedar planks for the
dryroom. Our history includes machining golf putters and rescue equipment and we
have successfully supplied all the aluminum components for a top-of-the-line car
top carrier company. But archery is our home, our core business.
Our vanes are used worldwide by everyone from beginners to the most seasoned competitor.
You'll even find them at the Olympic training center these days. (Yep - in Red,
White and Blue!) We've got the supplies and tools that make your fletching life
easier, help your arrows fly truer, make your hunting season more successful.
Our latest new product line is the Fusion® Vanes. It's always our goal to make our
products enhance your archery life, and we think the newest in our vane lineup serves
that cause. Easy to fletch, quality flight characteristics, tough as your leather
boots - you'll be spoiled for sure.
The next generation of StringTamers® have hit the market this year, too. Lighter,
quieter, sexier. Doesn't that about say it all? The StringTamer® GII's real secret
to a quiet shot is in our rubber baby buggy bumper (say THAT one five times really
fast - we dare ya!).
But don't take our word for it. Check the testimonials that we keep getting. We're
pretty dang sure you'll know a good thing when you see it.
